What is ViaJiin?
ViaJiin finds the Korean skincare that works for your skin. You do not need a 12-step routine. Agnes, who grew up between Korea and the US, sources directly from boutique Korean brands and chooses every product to work together. Start with one product, a duo, or a full routine.
Who is behind ViaJiin?
ViaJiin was founded in December 2025 by Agnes Kim, who grew up between the United States and Korea and spent eight years at Microsoft leading Xbox market expansion into Asia. She chooses every brand and negotiates directly with every Korean supplier. Read her story.
How does it work?
There are three ways in.
Take the skin quiz. Ten questions, three minutes. It asks about your skin type, what is actually bothering you, how your skin behaves through the year, what you already use, and how much time you realistically have in a morning. It points you to the routine that fits, and if two would work, it tells you why you might pick one over the other.
Talk to Agnes. If you would rather explain your skin to a person, get in touch and Agnes will tell you what she would choose for you.
Shop on your own. Every product is sold on its own, alongside duos and full routines, if you already know what you want.
What is in a full routine?
- Four full-size products. Not samples, not travel sizes. The real thing, in the order you use it.
- A fifth piece, chosen for this routine. It varies by kit and is meant to finish your routine or let you explore something new from Korea.
- A routine card. The order, the timing, and what each step is for, because a routine you do not understand is a routine you stop doing.
- Full ingredients in English, verified against the manufacturer's own statement.
How are the products chosen?
Nothing here was picked off a trend list.
Agnes reads the Korean reviews written by people who paid for the products themselves. In Korea those are called 내돈내산, bought with my own money, and they are a different perspective from a sponsored post.
She speaks with the founders and the people who actually make the products, to understand how they think about formulation before deciding to carry them.
And she reads every ingredient list across a routine, in full, to confirm it works as one system rather than four separate purchases that happen to share a box.
That is why there are only a few trusted brands here, not thousands of random products.
What happens after my order arrives?
Everything lives in one place. Your Routine shows the products you have, the order to use them in, and where you are in your skin journey. It is also where you top up a single step when it runs out. When the whole routine is due, the kit is the better buy.
Is there SPF in the kit?
No. In the United States sunscreen is regulated as an over-the-counter drug, not a cosmetic, and several UV filters that are standard in Korea are not approved here. The Korean sunscreens we would want to send you cannot legally be sold as sunscreen in the US, and we would rather send nothing than a reformulated substitute. Finish your morning with an SPF you already know and love.
Is ViaJiin a reseller?
Every product is sourced directly from the Korean brand or its supplier, not through a third-party reseller or grey-market channel. That is also why we can tell you who is responsible for each product in the US, which a drop-shipper cannot.
How much does it cost?
Every kit is $179: Glass Skin, Lift & Renewal, Restore & Nourish, Barrier Repair and Vegan Glass Skin. The Glow Duo and Renewal Duo are $99, for someone who already has a routine they like. Single products are $38 to $68. Shipping is free on orders of $99 and up.
Can I buy just one product?
Yes. Every product is sold on its own. A kit costs less than buying its steps separately and adds a fifth piece chosen for that routine.
Are the products full size?
Yes. Every product we sell is full size.

Which brands does ViaJiin carry?
Nine boutique Korean brands, sourced directly from Korea: Aseriel, Classy Elements (VARDA), Dr.RELIEF, Healara, Korisol, Sograin, The Seasons, Vegetology and Yeonhwa. Most of them are hard to find in the US.
Is Korean skincare FDA approved?
No cosmetic is FDA approved, Korean or American. The FDA does not approve cosmetics. It regulates them after they are on the market. We wrote a longer answer on the blog if you want the detail.
What if a product does not suit my skin?
Tell us. You have 30 days, with a full refund on unopened products and store credit on opened ones. We always recommend patch testing something new before it joins your full routine.
Where can I buy ViaJiin in person?
ViaJiin kits are stocked at K-Beauty & Skin in Renton, Washington, and at ViaJiin Nights, small in-person gatherings around the Seattle area.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not yet. ViaJiin ships within the United States.
