The Brands
Nine boutique Korean brands, most of them hard to find in the US.
Boutique laboratories, single-chemist studios and dermatological lines, chosen for what they do rather than what they spend. Each one below has its own page, with the philosophy behind it, the products we carry, and the full ingredient lists.
Healara
Peptide and ceramide systems, and cultivated marine actives. The line we reach for when skin has shifted and needs firmness and density rather than more hydration.
Vegetology
Viniferine, a grapevine-derived brightening active that Korean formulators use where Western brands reach for vitamin C.
Classy Elements
PDRN skin boosters and cica, sold as the VARDA line. Clinic-adjacent formulation, made for skin that wants repair and renewal at the same time.
Dr.RELIEF
A dermatological line built on a ratio of centella, dexpanthenol, ceramide and allantoin, validated at Kyung Hee University. Every product in the DAC2 range shares the same base structure, which is why we break our own two-brand rule for the Barrier Repair Kit.
Yeonhwa
Herbal formulation in the Korean traditional register. Licorice, and cleansers that treat washing your face as a step rather than a chore.
Aseriel
HPR, a next-generation retinoid, alongside peptides. A gentler take on retinoids than classic retinol.
Korisol
Niacinamide with gentle PHA and AHA polishing acids. Tone, texture and pore appearance, handled slowly rather than aggressively.
Sograin
Oat. Quiet, unglamorous, and one of the most reliable things you can put on skin that has had enough.
The Seasons
사철쑥, Korean mugwort, in calming masks. A single ingredient treated seriously.
How they get here
Every brand on this page was found the same way. Korean reviews written by people who paid for the products themselves. A conversation with the founders or the formulators. And every ingredient list read in full, in English, before anything goes on the shelf.
