Korean skincare for skin that has stopped tolerating things.

Reactive skin is not a skin type. It is a state. Skin that used to handle actives starts stinging. A product you have used for a year suddenly flushes you. Everything feels tight, then oily, then tight again. Most people respond by adding more, or by switching brands every three weeks and never giving anything time to work.

The Korean approach to a compromised barrier is the opposite of that. Take everything out. Rebuild the lipid structure the skin lost. Then, only once it holds, start adding back.

This kit is that reset, and it is deliberately narrow. Four steps, one Korean brand, nothing your skin has to negotiate with. Every product is fragrance-free, with no essential oils, no acids, and no resurfacing actives anywhere in the routine.

Why one brand

Most of what ViaJiin does is curation across boutique Korean brands. This kit is the exception, on purpose.

Dr.RELIEF's DAC2 line does one thing. Its patent is not on an ingredient but on a ratio, the proportion held between centella, dexpanthenol, ceramide and allantoin, validated at Kyung Hee University. Every product in the line is built on that same structure. Running it through all four steps means each layer reinforces the one before it instead of competing with it. Mixing brands here would mean four different barrier philosophies stacked on skin that is already struggling to keep up.

What's inside

Step 1. Cleanse
Dr.RELIEF · DAC2 Calendula Calming Foam Cleanser · 120ml

A low-irritation foam built on calendula and a centella complex, with ceramide NP, panthenol, and allantoin. Removes the day without the squeaky, stripped feeling that sets reactive skin off for the rest of the evening. Fragrance-free.

Use morning and night as your first step. Massage a small amount into damp skin, rinse with lukewarm water. Never hot.

Step 2. Hydrate
Dr.RELIEF · DAC2 Zero-Pore Hyaluronic Acid Toner · 200ml

The most complete barrier toner in the kit, and the reason the routine works as a system. A full centella complex with ceramide NP and panthenol, over trehalose and three weights of hyaluronic acid. It does the work of a serum in the position of a toner, which is what lets the rest of the routine stay this short. Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, no acids.

After cleansing, press two to three layers into damp skin with your palms. Do not swipe with a cotton pad.

A note: this formula is built on witch hazel water, which is calming for most skin but a known trigger for a small number of people. Patch test on your inner arm for two days before using it on your face.

Step 3. Repair
Dr.RELIEF · DAC2 Intensive Repair Ampoule · 30ml

Panthenol is the second ingredient, ahead of nearly everything else, which tells you what this is for. The same centella and ceramide structure as the toner, concentrated, with malachite extract and three weights of hyaluronic acid. There is no brightening active, no exfoliant, and no firming peptide in it, and that is the point. This step calms and rebuilds. Nothing else.

After toning, press two to three drops into damp skin, morning and night. Focus on the areas that flush or feel tight.

Step 4. Seal
Dr.RELIEF · DAC2 Intensive Repair Cream · 50ml

The final layer, and lighter than its position suggests. Panthenol second again, with squalane, ceramide NP and the centella complex over a base of light, dry-finish emollients rather than heavy waxes. Its job is to hold everything underneath in place instead of letting it evaporate off over the next two hours.

The last step, morning and night. Warm a small amount between your fingers and press it on. Do not rub.

Best for

Skin that has become reactive, whether that started with over-exfoliating, a change in climate, a treatment, or nothing you can point to at all. Redness that comes and goes. Stinging on products you used to tolerate. Tightness that moisturizer does not fix. Dry, sensitive, and combination skin. If your barrier is fine and you want brightening or firming, this is the wrong kit and we would rather tell you that now.

What to expect

Skin usually feels calmer and less tight within the first week, because the routine stops asking anything of it. A more even, settled look builds over four to six weeks.

This kit is a baseline, not a destination. Once your skin is holding steady, actives can come back in, one at a time. We will tell you when and in what order.
